Philosophy and Approach:
Paul takes an eclectic approach to creating treatment plans for clients, viewing the counseling process as a journey. He sees his role as walking alongside clients on this journey, working to set goals and facilitate meaningful change. It is important to him to use interventions and modalities that best meet each client’s unique needs. Paul also recognizes that these needs can evolve over time, and he strives to be adaptive to those changes.
To that end, Paul incorporates a variety of therapeutic modalities into his practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR for trauma therapy. He has a strong foundation in Jungian Psychology and follows a holistic approach, considering the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of the therapeutic process. Additionally, Paul offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for clients who may be resistant to other forms of therapy or are seeking treatment for PTSD, anxiety, depression, or addiction issues.
